Heartstrings

I’m not just a doll in a doll’s house,
Pretty and smile though I may.
You can’t put me away when you’re finished
While looking the opposite way.
You can’t break me and put me together.
Play, and then pull me apart.
No:
I’m not just a doll in a doll’s house.
Tread softly, you tread on my heart.
